Introducing Your June Intern: Mackenzie Jones!

Hey girly girls! As you already know my name is Mackenzie, but what you don't know is everything else about me. So here goes! I am from Columbus, Georgia, I am 19 years old, I attend Kennesaw State University of which I am going into my sophomore year, and I am a HUGE family girl. My mama, Jill, and daddy, Bill, are the world's greatest parents and have been the greatest motivators and supporters. I also have two younger siblings, Jackson who is twelve and Berkley who is eight. Being a big sister and role model to my younger siblings is something that I take pride in. God blessed me with two of the most incredible siblings, so I do my very best every day to set an example for them to follow. Apart from my family, I love dancing! I have danced for five years and I am very passionate about it. God has given me such a remarkable family and love for dancing, but more importantly He has given to me a solid, undying love for who He is. Because of this, I am here in Aiken working alongside Stephen and Morgan to serve Christ, but to also serve each and every one of you girls. Three years ago, Stephen and Morgan came to my home church in Columbus to be the student pastor and to minister to the youth and I who God is and His importance. My life was drastically changed. God used the two of them to awaken my heart for Christ. Under their leadership, I learned the importance of pursuing God and maintaining an intimate relationship with Him. Today, I can unashamedly say that I am head over heels in love with God.  I have come so far in the past three years and learned so much, but the best part about it is that I am still learning. Right now in my life, I am learning patience and how to depend on God in all I do. And goodness gracious is this hard! Especially for a woman like me that loves to be on top of things and prepare! But I have to be steadfast and faithful, because if I proclaim the name of God than I am choosing all that follows...the hardships, the struggles, the beautiful, and the great! I cannot even begin to tell you girls how PUMPED I am to be here, to share my life with you, and to get to know each of you! When you see me, be sure to hug my neck (I do not do hand-shakes) and tell me who you are!

Loving Jesus together,
"Mack"

My Life Verse:
